Thank you so much to everyone that joined us for our party & MND fundraiser. Thank you to all my mini-flash mobbers and to James Newport, Killian Newport, Anne Prenderghost, Charlotte Lane, Joe Shepherd, Lesley Lane, Gary Steinert, Becca-Lou Lane, Connor Farrall & also now Karan Handa for all accepting their ice bucket challenges to raise awareness and funds for MND ! Thank you also to those who could not make it and have kindly sent us donations. So far we have raised £638 with more still to come. Videos of the evening will follow ASAP. It was chilly ( but boiling in the pool!) but the rain stayed away - What a great night !

One day to go and the ice bucket challenge nominations are coming in thick and fast so there should be a good group of us doing it by the time tomorrow evening comes. Still crossing fingers for good weather - but the new gazebo's are huge so we are ready for anything! Happy birthday Dad . Miss you xx

As the MND/ALS Ice bucket challenge spreads like wild fire I feel the need to buy extra ice for Saturday!!

Great response to invitations and lots of people staying overnight at the Holmecroft Weekend Retreat! All preparations nearly complete including the surprise entertainment!!! Pool sparkling. Some lovely donations also received from friends who are unable to attend. Have raised £185 so far through Gum Tree sales plus £75 from 2 sets of friends not attending. Praying for some good weather next weekend!

38 acceptances so far ! Really pleased that so many people are making a special effort to join us. Hope the party is as memorable as the August barbecues that Dad and Mum used to have ! Planning a few surprises!
